The Vancouver Collector Car Show & Auction
THERE IS NO 2015 SHOW
As some may know, the producers of the VCCSA have been awarded the contract to run the Vancouver International Auto Show, which takes place at the Vancouver Convention Centre on March 24 – 29, 2015 – www.VancouverInternationalAutoShow.com. This is Western Canada’s best attended consumer show and our mandate is to grow the show (this year by some 70,000 square feet) and revive it to be a more entertaining and engaging event. This is a large undertaking and this first year is a significant challenge as we only took over with 8 months to produce the event rather than the normal 12 window.
When we originally launched the Vancouver Collector Car Show & Auction we understood that three years were required to see the event mature and become sustainable. With the first two years behind us, we have experienced some great successes and some difficult challenges. We have consulted with our amazing sponsors, volunteers and partners at the PNE and have made the decision to skip the 2015 show and focus on re-launching the show in 2016. There are many reasons behind this decision, including the strength of the Canadian dollar, the current market value of vehicles, in market competition and past support. We are committed to making many changes that will see a great 2016 event that we can all be proud of. We look forward to working with the hobby to make these adjustments and bring the show back in 2016.
With a year under our belts, and a traditional 12 month show cycle, we are confident in producing both events in 2016. As always we are open to comments, questions and suggestions, so please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org ,email@example.com or phone 604-492-2282. Thank you for your past support and we look forward to working with you in the future. - Jason & Phil
